Ke$ha was first in the media spotlight when she was featured on rapper Flo Rida's smash hit single "Right Round". Riding on the success, Ke$ha found a lot of success as a solo artist when her debut single "tik tok" peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and hit #1 soon after, blocking the likes of Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" from hitting the top spot. Her debut CD "Animal" was released on the 5th of January 2010 and debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, and joins an elite group of artists who have managed to hold the top spot on both the Billboard Hot 100 and 200 albums chart. Here's a new song called "Butterscotch" (which did not make the final tracklisting).
